Alabama

Georgia or Alabama: Benefiting the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Georgia and Alabama. Founded in 1995, The Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Georgia and Alabama is committed to granting more than 300 wishes each year throughout both Georgia and Alabama.

Alaska

Washington and Alaska: Benefiting the Make-A-Wish Foundation^® of Alaska & Washington Chapter. The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Alaska & Washington grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. This year, they will grant nearly 300 wishes to children throughout Alaska and Washingtonm, and have granted more than 4,600 wishes since 1986!

Arizona

Arizona: Benefiting the Make-A-Wish Foundation^® of Arizona. The Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Arizona is the organization’s founding chapter. It began in 1980 with one Arizona boy’s wish to be a police officer. The Arizona chapter is now a 501(c)(3) non-profit that to date, has granted more than 3,500 wishes to Arizona children with life-threatening medical conditions.

California

Greater Bay Area (San Francisco) California: Benefiting the Greater Bay Area Make-A-Wish Foundation^®. The Greater Bay Area Make-A-Wish Foundation was founded in 1984. In its first year, a total of 27 wishes were granted. Now one of the largest chapters nationwide, the Foundation has granted 5,000 wishes and grants over 300 wishes per year.
Greater Los Angeles Area: Benefiting the Make-A-Wish Foundation^® of Greater Los Angeles. The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Greater Los Angeles was founded on the notion of "one child, one wish" in 1983. Since that time, they have brightened the lives of more than 7,300 children with a wide range of life-threatening medical conditions.
Orange County Inland Empire: Benefiting the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Orange County & the Inland Empire. As a chapter of the national foundation, Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Orange County and the Inland Empire fulfills wishes for children between the ages of 2 1/2 and 18 who confront life-threatening medical conditions. Granting wishes helps these children find the hope they need to transform their life-threatening illnesses into life-affirming triumphs. Formed in 1983, the chapter has fulfilled the wishes of more than 3,500 children.
San Diego California: Benefiting the Make-A-Wish Foundation^® of San Diego. The Make-A-Wish Foundation of San Diego was chartered in 1983 has granted more than 2,700 wishes to children in San Diego and Imperial Counties. In fiscal year 2010, we granted 187 wishes.

Colorado

Colorado: Benefiting the Make-A-Wish Foundation^® of Colorado. The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Colorado, Inc. grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. Since being founded in 1983, the chapter has granted more than 3,300 wishes to eligible Colorado children.

Connecticut

Connecticut: Benefiting the Make-A-Wish Foundation^® of Connecticut. For 25 years, the sole purpose of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Connecticut has been to grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Connecticut has granted over 1,900 wishes since it was founded in 1986.

Delaware

Delaware, the District of Columbia, Maryland or Northern Virginia: Benefiting the Make-A-Wish Foundation^® of the Mid-Atlantic. The Make-A-Wish Foundation® of the Mid-Atlantic was founded in 1983 and has granted the wishes of nearly 7,000 children fighting life-threatening medical conditions such as cancer, pediatric AIDS, cystic fibrosis, Duchene's Muscular Dystrophy and heart disease.

District of Columbia

Delaware, the District of Columbia, Maryland or Northern Virginia: Benefiting the Make-A-Wish Foundation^® of the Mid-Atlantic. The Make-A-Wish Foundation® of the Mid-Atlantic was founded in 1983 and has granted the wishes of nearly 7,000 children fighting life-threatening medical conditions such as cancer, pediatric AIDS, cystic fibrosis, Duchene's Muscular Dystrophy and heart disease.

Florida

Central & Northern Florida: Benefiting the Make-A-Wish Foundation^® of Central and Northern Florida. The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Central and Northern Florida began in 1986 and has offices in Orlando, Tampa Bay and Sarasota.
Southern Florida: Benefiting the Make-A-Wish Foundation^® of Southern Florida. The Southern Florida Chapter is celebrating 27 years of granting wishes to local children. We have grown from granting two wishes in 1983 to granting 544 wishes in fiscal year 2010.

Georgia

Georgia or Alabama: Benefiting the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Georgia and Alabama. Founded in 1995, The Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Georgia and Alabama is committed to granting more than 300 wishes each year throughout both Georgia and Alabama.

Hawaii

Hawaii: Benefiting the Make-A-Wish Foundation^® of Hawaii. The Hawaii chapter was established in 1982 and has granted more than 800 wishes for local children. In concert with granting wishes for the keiki of Hawaii they also assist other chapters to host more than 650 wish children annually, that choose to visit the Islands as their one true wish.

Illinois

Illinois: Benefiting the Make-A-Wish Foundation^® of Illinois. The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Illinois grants wishes to children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich their lives with hope, strength and joy. Since 1985, the Foundation has granted more than 9,000 wishes in Illinois.

Indiana

Louisiana

Texas Gulf Coast or Louisiana: Benefiting the Make-A-Wish Foundation^® of Texas Gulf Coast & Louisiana. The Texas Gulf Coast & Louisiana chapter was founded in 1984. The chapter covers 47 counties and 64 parishes with a seven and a half person staff and hundreds of dedicated volunteers. We moved into our own house in April of 1998.

Maryland

Massachusetts

Massachusetts and Rhode Island: Benefiting the Make-A-Wish Foundation^® of Massachusetts and Rhode Island. The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Massachusetts fulfilled its very first wish in 1987: a family trip to York Beach for a little girl with Niemann-Pick Disease. Since then, the Foundation has served over 4,500 children in Massachusetts and over 1,000 children in Rhode Island.

Michigan

Michigan: Benefiting the Make-A-Wish Foundation^® of Michigan. Since 1984, the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Michigan has granted wishes to more than 6,500 special children in Michigan. Of each dollar spent by the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Michigan, nearly 80 cents goes directly to granting wishes for children with life-threatening medical conditions.

Minnesota

Minnesota: Benefiting the Make-A-Wish Foundation^® of Minnesota. The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Minnesota was founded in 1982 and has granted more than 3,000 wishes.

Missouri

Missouri: Benefiting the Make-A-Wish Foundation^® of Missouri. The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Missouri is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that was formed in 1983. Their mission is to grant the wishes of Missouri children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength, and joy. Fulfilling a childâ??s wish provides a joyful and meaningful experience that benefits both the child and the family.

Montana

Montana: Benefiting the Make-A-Wish Foundation^® of Montana. The first wish in Montana was granted in the summer of 1987. Last year, 26 wishes were granted in the state of Montana with the help of 57 volunteers. In its history, the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Montana has fulfilled nearly 300 wishes.

Nevada

Southern Nevada: Benefiting the Make-A-Wish Foundation^® of Southern Nevada. The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Southern Nevada was founded in 1996, and currently serves the southern half of the state, encompassing the counties of Clark, Nye, Lincoln and Esmeralda. In 2009, 132 wishes were granted to children throughout the Southern Nevada region, and in total granted more than 1,100 wishes for local children.

New Jersey

New Jersey: Benefiting the Make-A-Wish Foundation^® of New Jersey. Founded in 1983, the Make-A-Wish Foundation of New Jersey has granted more than 6,300 wishes, and granted 473 wishes in the last year alone.

New Mexico

New Mexico: Benefiting the Make-A-Wish Foundation^® of New Mexico. The New Mexico Chapter was founded in 1986 and granted its first wish in January 1987, to Donovan who wanted a bicycle.

New York

Hudson Valley New York: Benefiting the Make-A-Wish Foundation^® of the Hudson Valley. The Make-A-Wish Foundation of the Hudson Valley was founded in 1986. The Make-A-Wish Foundation of the Hudson Valley has granted close to 1,800 wishes.
Metro New York: Benefiting the Make-A-Wish Foundation^® of Metro New York. The Metro New York chapter, which serves the five boroughs of New York City and Nassau County , Long Island began in 1983 and is headquartered in Lake Success with a field office in Manhattan. Since its founding, the Metro New York chapter has granted over 8,500 wishes. In Fiscal Year 2010 we touched the lives of 793 wish children and their families by granting 531 wishes for local children, and by facilitating 262 wish assists for children who reside in other areas, but whose wishes took place in New York - that’s one wish every 11 hours!
Suffolk County Long Island: Benefiting the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Suffolk County. Since its inception in 1983, the Suffolk Chapter has granted over 2,000 wishes to local children. In the past year alone, the chapter has granted 122 wishes. Your car donations allow the Suffolk County chapter to grant the very special wishes of children such as: Jordan, age 6, who wished to go to Disney with his family; Benjamin, age 9, who wished to meet WWE Wrestlers; Caitlin, age 14, who wished to visit the set of Harry Potter in the U.K.; James, age 18, who wished to receive his own DJ equipment!
Western New York including Rochester and Buffalo: Benefiting the Make-A-Wish Foundation^® of Western New York. The Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Western New York was founded in the summer of 1992 when a young girl wished to meet her favorite country singer, Reba McIntyre. The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Western New York has granted more than 1,600 wishes, and on average grants one wish every 2 1/2 days.

Ohio

Pennsylvania

Greater Pennsylvania and Southern West Virginia: Benefiting the Make-A-Wish Foundation^® of Greater Pennsylvania and Southern West Virginia. The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Greater Pennsylvania and Southern West Virginia was founded in May 1983 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Bryan was a seven-year-old cancer patient who wanted to visit his favorite uncle in Texas for one of his famous piggy-back rides. Today, the chapter has granted more than 11,500 wishes. We are the first chapter in the world to fulfill more than 700 wishes in one year.
Philadelphia & Susquehanna Valley: Benefiting the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Philadelphia & Susquehanna Valley. The Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Philadelphia and Susquehanna Valley was founded in 1986, has granted more than 4,000 wishes, and currently has 200+ volunteers and welcomes other interested individuals.

Rhode Island

Massachusetts and Rhode Island: Benefiting the Make-A-Wish Foundation^® of Massachusetts and Rhode Island. The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Massachusetts fulfilled its very first wish in 1987: a family trip to York Beach for a little girl with Niemann-Pick Disease. South Dakota

South Dakota: Benefiting the Make-A-Wish Foundation^® of South Dakota. Since 1984, the Make-A-Wish Foundation of South Dakota has been making very special wishes come true for South Dakota children facing life-threatening medical conditions.

Texas

Central and South Texas Including Austin and San Antonio: Benefiting the Make-A-Wish Foundation^® of Central and South Texas. Since 1984 the Central & South Texas chapter has granted more than 2,800 wishes to children with life-threatening medical conditions. During fiscal year 2009, our volunteers and donors made it possible for 233 children in our area to experience the magic of a wish.
North Texas: Benefiting the Make-A-Wish Foundation^® of North Texas. The Make-A-Wish Foundation of North Texas has granted more than 4,000 wishes since it's inception in 1982 and covers 106 counties in Texas. With increasing public awareness, they are granting more and more wishes in outlying areas. They expect to grant more than 500 each year.

Wisconsin

Wisconsin: Benefiting the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Wisconsin. The Wisconsin chapter was founded in 1984 and more than 4,000 families statewide can attest to the power of a wish. The chapter's Field Office, located in Appleton, opened in 1996 to better serve children and their families in northeastern Wisconsin. Last year, the chapter granted a record-breaking 318 wishes. Currently, more than 230 Wisconsin children are in the process of having their special wishes granted.
