Make Wishes Come True Where A Mask Is A Must

March 30, 2016

Back by popular demand is the 4th Annual A Millions Dreams Masquerade Ball, benefiting Make-A-Wish Illinois. A Millions Dreams is a non-profit organization founded by Yvonne McMillion. When her son Zachary was 8, he battled the rare cancer Epithelia Sarcoma. Make-A-Wish Illinois granted him a wish and brought a smile back to his face. Now, Zachary is nine years cancer-free. Yvonne began A Million Dreams to give back to the Make-A-Wish foundation. She hosts great fundraising events to help grant more wishes.

The Masquerade Ball will feature a cocktail party, fun actives, silent auctions, and a cash bar. Come join A Million Dreams on April 23 for an adult night out that will surely bring more smiles to the faces of kids with critical illnesses.

A Night You Won’t Want To Miss

A spectacular charity event is guaranteed to you when you attend the 4th Annual Masquerade Ball. The Masquerade Ball is on Saturday, April 23 from 6-11 p.m. at the Holiday Inn in Crystal Lake (800 South Route 31). Parking is available is near the entrances of the Holiday Inn off the Three Oaks Road and also Sands Road. Entrance to the venue will be at the rear of the hotel. Formal wear is required, meaning gowns for women and suits or tuxes for men, and of course, a mask is a must.

This year offers a larger venue than last year. There will be more people attending, and even a bigger dance floor. There are some great updates to the event that will make it even a better night for those who attend. Baticua Entertainment provides the DJ, and there will be live musical performances by the local Lowdown Brass Band. Along with the usual magic and mystery of making a million dreams come true, there are some extra highlights for the evening, including:

  • Hors D’oeuvres served in buffet and butler style.
  • The infamous Mask Contest.
  • The popular Mystery Boxes.
  • A silent auction with electronic bidding.
  • Surprise Balloons.
  • A Wine and Craft Beer Pull.
  • A Candy Table to take you back in time.
  • The prize wheel.
  • A photo booth.

And much, much more!

Don’t Say “No” To The Price Of This Night

You do NOT want to miss this event. Tickets are $51.50 in advance for entry into the Masquerade Ball and a reserved seat for the event, and that price goes up to $60 at the door. Many tickets are still available and so are tables. General Admission Tables are $490 and seat ten guests. There is also a VIP package available for the first time this year, at $66.49 for a package ticket and $614.90 for a VIP table package. The VIP upgrade includes:

  • Valet Parking.
  • Choice of wine or beer tasting at the Pull.
  • A table around or near to the dance floor.
  • A free spin on the Prize Wheel.
  • A Take-A-Way Gift.

The event also still needs volunteers, and you can sign up here: http://www.signupgenius.com/go/30e0b4faca728a0f49-volunteers

This is your chance to dress up in gowns and suits and do something very good for humanity and your community. Each ticket purchased brings Make-A-Wish Illinois closer to granting more wishes. Bring a child’s dream to life by giving them the power of a wish.
