Three Walk For Wishes Events This July To Benefit Make-A-Wish Ohio, Kentucky And Indiana

This July put on your walking shoes for one – or all – of these upcoming Walk For Wishes events in Indianapolis, Cleveland, and Columbus. Register today and help make wishes come true for children in your community who are facing critical illnesses. Right now our partner Make-A-Wish Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana has more than 800 children waiting for their wishes to come true, and you can help make that happen this July! 

Walk For Wishes In Indianapolis July 12

Registration for the 9th Annual Indianapolis Walk for Wishes event starts at 9 a.m., followed by the walk kickoff at 10. Come to the Fort Harrison State Park (6000 N Post Rd, Indianapolis) to register the day of the event. You can either walk as an individual or recruit a team to help Walk for Wishes reach their goal of raising $160,000 in 2014. After this one or three mile walk, walkers can enjoy a Finish Line Celebration of music, food, and fun. Following the walk participants will also have the chance to meet Wish Families and see first-hand the power of a wish come true. Get the full details about the event here.

Walk For Wishes In Cleveland July 19

Registration for the 22nd Annual Medical Mutual Cleveland Walk for Wishes event starts at 7:30 a.m., followed by the walk kickoff at 8:30. The walk takes place at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo (900 Wildlife Way, Cleveland), so walkers should remember to bring their zoo passes. More than 2,100 walkers will attend this event, working together to meet the goal of raising $210,000 in 2014. Walkers can participate in either a one or three mile walk and can walk either as an individual or recruit a team. Similar to the Indianapolis Walk For Wishes, participants in this walk will also have a Finish Line Celebration and have the opportunity to meet Wish Families. Walk For Wishes In Columbus July 26

Registration for the 15th Annual Medical Mutual Columbus Walk for Wishes event begins at 9 a.m. followed by the walk kickoff at 10. The walk and registration takes place at McFerson Commons (Arch Park) at 218 West Street, Columbus. More than 1,500 walkers will come together July 26, working together to meet the goal of raising more than $125,000 in 2014. You can either walk as an individual or register a team to participate in this event. Similar to the Cleveland and Indianapolis walks, the Columbus Walk for Wishes will feature a one or three mile walk followed by a Finish Line Celebration and the chance to meet Wish Families.
