2017 Illinois Wish Ball
Each year, the Wish Ball in Chicago is one of Make-A-Wish Illinois' largest and most important fundraising events. It's also one of Chicago's most prominent charity events of the year. Held again at the Navy Pier, the 2017 Wish Ball will be on May 20. Last year, the Wish Ball raised more than $2 million. Event Details And Tickets
The theme of this year's Wish Ball is "Illuminate the Journey." The theme will celebrate the journey that families experience when a wish comes true.
Tickets are available now on Make-A-Wish Illinois' event website. Individual tickets are $600 each or you can purchase a table for $6,000. For $12,000, a limited number of premium tables are available as well. Tickets can be purchased online and picked up at the door. As always, the Wish Ball is a black tie affair.
On May 20, the evening begins with cocktails and a silent auction at 6 p.m. The dinner and program will follow at 7. Guests will also enjoy dancing as well as a great live auction. The Wish Ball is known for its fabulous auction items and this year's spread is sure to impress. More than 100 silent auction packages and many live auction items are put together just for the Wish Ball. In the past, items have included Aspen ski trips, vacations to wine country, trips to Italy, Broadway tickets, passes to movie premiers and much more.
Another fun part of the evening will be a chance to win the grand raffle prize, a three-night stay at the Hyatt-Regency Aruba Report Spa & Casino. The package includes two round-trip tickets as well. Raffle tickets are $20 each, or purchase three for $50.
