If you’re looking for a little adventure in your life but The Boilermaker isn’t your thing, then don’t miss the Walk on the Wild Side event taking place on July 17 at Wild Animal Park (7621 Lakeport Road). Walk around the park and enjoy food, games, raffles and vendors, all for a great cause. Earned proceeds from the event help to benefit Make-A-Wish Central New York.
Admission is $25 for adults, $20 for children ages 3-12, and free for children ages two and under. Admission includes a hamburger or hotdog, drinks, games, bouncy house, face painting, and live entertainment. The event will be held from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Register today and bring the whole family to Wild Animal Park for a great cause.
Grant Wishes In Other Ways
If you cannot attend either event this July, you can still help to grant wishes for Central New York Kids through car donation, in kind donations, airline mile donations, online fundraising, or adopting a wish. When you support Make-A-Wish Central New York, you can help to make wishes come true for children in your community who are battling critical illnesses.
If you have an unwanted car, truck, boat, motorcycle, or camper, donate it to our car donation program, Wheels For Wishes. Wheels For Wishes will pick up your donated vehicle at absolutely no cost to you, and your vehicle will be sold at auction or recycled and reused to build new vehicles. Earned proceeds from the sale of your vehicle benefit Make-A-Wish Central New York!
Summer is not the time to be dealing with car repairs or to be stalled on the side of road under the hot July sun. If you have a vehicle that isn’t reliable, doesn’t run, or maybe it’s just time for an upgrade, donate it to Wheels For Wishes and turn your unwanted vehicle into a wish for a local child. You will also receive a tax deduction for your charitable contribution. Donate a car today and support Make-A-Wish Central New York!
