As summer comes to an end, you can make a difference for Make-A-Wish Colorado when you register for the Route 66 Trip for Make-A-Wish. From Aug. 29 to Sept. 1, this exciting Labor Day Weekend road trip will take you down historic Route 66, through places like Denver, Albuquerque and Flagstaff. The trip ends in Santa Monica, Calif. Along the way you’ll meet new friends and have the chance to take part in festivities and fun road trip challenges and competitions. At the end of the trip there will be an awards presentation in Santa Monica, where you’ll have the chance to win one of a few exciting prizes. On top of that, the best part of the trip is that your participation will help Make-A-Wish Colorado grant more wishes for children facing critical illnesses. Your participation will bring more hope, strength and joy to kids in your community when they need it most.
Register Now To Take Part
Your registration fee of $760 per person includes accommodations and meals as well as participation in the awards night. Plus, $100 of your fee will go directly to Make-A-Wish Colorado with a goal of raising $5,000 at the event. These proceeds will be used to help grant the wish of three-year-old Hunter, whose one true wish is to go to Disney World to see his favorite characters.

Your Car Can Grant Wishes
Is your vehicle not road trip-ready? We hope you can make it to the Route 66 Road Trip, but if your car isn’t in shape for a long drive and it’s time for a new one, your old car still has the power to grant wishes. When you donate a vehicle to Wheels For Wishes, benefiting Make-A-Wish Colorado, we will either recycle or auction it, and the proceeds from its sale will go to Make-A-Wish Colorado to grant wishes for children in your community. Donating is easy and only takes a moment of your time. Simply call 1-877-431-9474 or fill out an online donation form.
The best benefit from your donation is that it will help grant a wish that brings hope, strength and joy to a child who is facing a critical illness. Your donation will also give you a great tax deduction and free pick-up or towing of your vehicle.
When you donate, you’ll also be contributing to the green movement because your car will be recycled or auctioned to a new user rather than sitting unused. When a car is recycled, many of the parts can be reused and the metal can be recycled into new materials. Far less energy is used to produce metal using recycled materials than is used to produce metal from new, raw materials. Whether you are driving your car in the Route 66 Trip this Labor Day Weekend, or you are donating it to Wheels For Wishes, you can make a wonderful difference with your vehicle!
