What if you could enjoy a night out with your friends while also raising money for a great cause? Well, that is just what Make-A-Wish Massachusetts and Rhode Island is offering guests at their Friday, Nov. 15 Wine and Spirit Tasting event in Boston. The event takes place in the Winter Garden Atrium at Morton’s The Steakhouse, Two Seaport Lane, Boston.
The event begins at 6 p.m. and will last until about 8 p.m. During that time, guests will have the opportunity to try new wines, spirits and whiskey along with chef inspired food. There will also be a raffle at the end of the night. The cost for the evening is $75, but those who wish to attend this Wine and Spirit Tasting also have the opportunity to donate more to Make-A-Wish when they register online.
The event is advertised as a great place for young professionals in the Boston area to network and engage with one another. All of the net proceeds from the event will go toward granting the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions. It is a good way for young professionals to interact with one another while also learning about Make-A-Wish and making a contribution to the Make-A-Wish effort.
Why Helping Make-A-Wish Is Important
Make-A-Wish grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions. Their efforts enhance the strength and hope of Wish Kids while they experience one of the most difficult times in their lives. In the 26 years since the chapter began, Make-A-Wish Massachusetts and Rhode Island has granted more than 6,000 wishes. That means more than 6,000 children have had their wish come true thanks to the chapter.
Wishes include a variety of different activities. Some children will choose to go on a cruise while others would like to learn to play guitar or meet their favorite baseball player. The great thing about Make-A-Wish is that no wish is too unique, and Make-A-Wish strives to make every child’s wish come true. You can be a part of making these wishes come true by taking part in fundraisers such as the Make-A-Wish Massachusetts and Rhode Island Wine and Spirit Tasting event on Nov. 15.

We pick up and tow away your car, boat, SUV, ATV, motorcycle or motorhome at no cost to you and your donation is tax deductible.
