The Fat Tire Trail Duathlon Benefits Make-A-Wish Illinois
Are you looking for a fun and exciting way to benefit your local Make-A-Wish Illinois? The Fat Tire Trail Duathlon takes place on an off-road crushed limestone trail within the Lake County area. This event will give you a chance to get outdoors before the cold weather rolls in, and it’s also a great form of exercise. The best part is that it will help to grant wishes for Illinois Wish Kids. A portion of the event proceeds will benefit Make-A-Wish Illinois!
Take A Ride Through Independence Grove Forest Preserve

The trail is designed for all experience levels, including children. The kid’s race will follow after the final wave.
The event will feature a medical station in case medical support should be needed at the finish line, as well as a transition station to help participants transition from the run to the bicycle portion of the race. A hydration station will also be provided. View the course here.

Participants Could Win Prizes, But They Also Help To Grant Wishes
