There are two opportunities this weekend for you to help out and raise funds for kids in the state of North Carolina! You can attend the Walk for Wishes Charlotte Region at ZMax Dragway in Concord or Triad Region at Tanglewood Park in Clemmons to benefit Make-A-Wish North Carolina, and have a blast at the same time! Whether you’re donating a car to make wishes come true or walking for wishes, you are making a huge difference in the life of a local child.
Walk For Wishes This Weekend
This Saturday, November 10th gives you the chance to Walk for Wishes to benefit Central & Western North Carolina kids! Join in on the fun at the ZMax Dragway for the Charlotte Region Walk for Wishes or Tanglewood Park for the Triad Region, and help grant the wishes of kids in your very own state! You can even walk arm-in-arm with Wish Kids and experience their excitement for yourself.
Aside from car donation, walking for wishes is an excellent way to support your local community and raise funds for kids in North Carolina. You can register and raise funds as an individual or as a team with family, friends, and even colleagues. The more people you involve, the better!
Register Today And Starting Raising Funds
Register online to walk for the Charlotte Region or for the Triad Region, or simply head in early on walk day to register in person.
The Charlotte Region Walk for Wishes begins with registration at 9:30am and the walk to follow at 10:30. The Triad Region walk, however, will take place in the evening. Head on over to Tanglewood Park to register at 5pm and be ready to walk at 6:30.
Fundraising is strongly encouraged, so be sure to start today! The more smiles you can put on kids’ faces, the better! Plus, when you raise over $100, you will receive a special Walk T-Shirt.
Your Participation Can Do So Much For A Wish Kid In North Carolina
Adult registration for the Charlotte Walk for Wishes is $10, but there are no fees for kids under 11. Your small fee will making a huge difference for a child.
If you can’t make it to the walk, then don’t fret! You can still register as a Virtual Walker for $10 and continue to raise funds for Make-A-Wish Western & Central North Carolina.
Adult registration for the Triad Region Walk for Wishes is $20 and $10 for kids ages 6-12, but free for kids 5 and under. Similar to the Charlotte walk, you can register as a Virtual Walker for $20. Either way, your participation is so important and can do so much for kids in North Carolina. You can be responsible for making a child’s wish come true in North Carolina.
