This fall, Make-A-Wish North Texas has a variety of fun events you can attend to help raise money for granting more wishes. Whether you’re looking for chef-crafted foods, a circus themed party or a reason to get out your bicycle, you can get involved! With the average cost of a wish being $9,000 in north Texas, your support is needed to help bring hope, strength and joy to more children who need it.

Delicious Wishes, Sept. 8

If you’re in the Fort Worth area, come to the W.R. Watt Arena (3201 Burnett-Tandy Drive) for Delicious Wishes. The evening begins at 6:30 p.m. and goes until 10:30. Delicious Wishes showcases food and drinks from local chefs and breweries all while raising money for Make-A-Wish North Texas.

Individual tickets are $150 each and sponsorships are available for those who would like to go above and beyond. Sponsorship packages range from $1,000 to $25,000 and there is also a presenting sponsor package available for $50,000. Contact Shelby Blue for more event information.

A Three Wish Circus, Sept. 15

El Paso area residents looking for a fun event can come out to the Three Wish Circus at the Southwest University Event Center (6500 Montana Ave.). The event kicks off at 6 p.m. and will include an evening full of fun, entertainment and the chance to meet Wish Kids! The Three Wish Circus will have both a live and silent auction as well as a restaurant pull.

Wish 100, Oct. 8

Cyclists in the DallasFort Worth area can head up to the TUPPS Brewery in McKinney (721 Anderson Street) on Oct. 8. The 8th Annual Wish 100 Bicycle Rally starts and ends at the brewery. More than 1,200 riders are expected to show up and you can be among them!

No matter your skill level, you can get involved with a portion of the rally that’s perfect for you. The event features a 10, 17, 45 and 60-mile route. Registration is $30 for adults and $10 for children. Everyone is also encouraged to reach a $100 fundraising goal as well. 

On Oct. 8, riders can arrive at 6 a.m. for packet pick-up and onsite registration. Day-of registration is increased to $40. At 7:30 a.m., join in the pre-ride celebration. The ride begins at 8. Following the ride, bikers can enjoy food, kids’ activities and other festivities in downtown McKinney as part of the Tail Ache Celebration.
