Help South Dakota Kids Get Their Wishes
The best part of the Dinner and Dance is that it’s a fun way for you to help more South Dakota kids have their wish granted! Each year, Make-A-Wish South Dakota grants 70 or more wishes and has granted more than 1,100 wishes over the last 30 years. A great way for you to help them continue granting all those wishes is to attend the Dinner and Dance. However, if you can’t attend there are still many ways that you can help out.
Are you a frequent flier? Through the Wishes in Flight program, you can donate your frequent flier miles to Make-A-Wish South Dakota to help grant children’s travel-related wishes. Nationally, Make-A-Wish needs more than 2.5 billion miles a year to cover each travel wish. While many South Dakota children may wish to experience the beauty their home state has to offer, others may wish to travel to far-away places like Disney resorts, Hawaii and even Europe. You can help children reach their favorite destination with your extra airline miles.
Donate Your Car To Help Grant Wishes
Not a flier? If you have an unwanted vehicle you can turn that into wishes as well! Through our car donation program Wheels For Wishes you can turn your unwanted car, truck, RV, motorcycle or boat into so much more. We auction or recycle donated vehicles and the net proceeds go to Make-A-Wish South Dakota to help grant wishes. All you need to do to turn your vehicle into a wish is call 1-877-431-9474 or fill out our easy online car donation form.
In addition to the joy of helping wishes come true, you’ll also receive a great tax deduction and free pick-up or towing of your vehicle. Now is a great time to donate, too. If we receive your donation online before 11:59 p.m. on Dec. 31, you will be able to deduct your charitable donation from this year’s taxes. There’s never been a better time than now to donate a vehicle!
